Our four bedroomed end townhouse is on the edge of the centre of Woodbridge.. Built in the style of property in the local conservation area in 2008, the house has all modern conveniences and a real fire place. It has an enclosed courtyard garden ideal for afternoon drinks in the sun . Located at the end of the historic pedestrianized Thoroughfare, it has easy walking access to the river and a range of excellent shops, pubs and restaurants with great food. The town has its own cinema and swimming pool and has good links to the coast by bus and train. Woodbridge has recently been described as one of the top 100 places to live in the UK by the Sunday Times, one of the 10 best foodie towns in England by Country Life Magazine and has one of the top 10 High Streets according to the Sunday Times. Woodbridge has an attractive Tide mill and harbour.
The Suffolk coast, designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty, is less than 10 minutes by car. Aldeburgh, home of the famous festival, and Sutton Hoo, the England's foremost Anglo-Saxon site, are both within easy reach and popular with visitors from all over the country. Castles in nearby Orford and Framlingham are very popular with visitors from abroad. Bird watchers love the nearby Minsmere reserve, featured in many wildlife programmes .The remains of Dunwich one of the biggest towns in England in the Middle Ages, yet washed away by the sea, is a few miles away. London Stansted is the nearest airport with regular flights from most of Europe.. London is one and half hours away by train or car, Cambridge one hour away.
