There are many places to explore in the region - from historic towns (Tavira) , traditional fishing ports (Olhao) and the wonderful countryside inland, with cork trees , birdlife and abundant wild flowers. The coastline is a protected wildlife zone and visits can be made to see herons, flamingoes and even 'water' poodles. The beaches are uncrowded and stretch for miles - accessible by short ferry ride or miniature trains.
In the Quinta, solar panels provide the hot water, there's a recycling policy and the pool is cleaned by natural salts. A very well equipped kitchen as well as outdoor oven and BBq means you can enjoy leisurely meals on the covered patio. There are also some great local restaurants amd wholefood outlets too. All providing the perfect ingredients for a happy and healthy holiday.
