ReefView Apartments are modern, fully equipped, self catering holiday homes, situated 100yds from a protected palm fringed sandy beach on the South Coast of Antigua.
The properties are set in tropical gardens, abundant with palm trees, brightly coloured hibiscus, jasmine and many other exotic varieties of flowers.
These serve to attract several species of hummingbird and butterflies, which you can watch from your covered verandas as they zip in and out of the flower heads all day long, feeding on the nectar.
The outstanding panoramic sea views over CADES REEF and the neighbouring islands of Monserrat, Redonda, and Guadaloupe offer a constantly changing backdrop of yachts of all sizes, dive boats and snorkelling charters eager to discover the jewels in and around this healthy natural ecosystem.
It is not unusual to see pelicans dive bombing the shoals of baitfish from great heights - crashing into the turquoise blue sea - with frigate birds often seen circling overhead.
The south and west coasts of Antigua offer some of the island's finest natural beaches - with the closest beach only steps outside your apartment taking approximately 1 hour to walk to the end along the sandy bays and back. It is not unusual to have the entire beach to yourself during this time.
If you are quiet you may be lucky enough to observe some of the many beautiful heron and egret species stalking the shoreline and even spot a stingray or eagle ray swimming by just feet from the water's edge.
ReefView is definitely closest to Nature - but just 7 mins either by car or bus service from the top of the lane to a full supermarket, banks, casino, bars, shops, restaurants, fitness centre, spa facilities, 18 hole golf course, tennis courts, swimming pool, full service dive centre and marina (Jolly Harbour).
The apartments are bright and airy with cathedral ceilings. You have complete control of the cool trade wind breezes that filter through the spacious open plan layout with windows on every side.
Additionally though, there is air-conditioning as well as efficient ceiling fans and insect screens throughout. Also cable TV, wireless internet,CD/radio,IPOD docking stations, microwave and coffee maker. Queen size beds with Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy pillows and feather cushions. Full bath with rainfall shower and a separate laundry room with both beach and bath towels and all linens provided.
Additional outside showers for rinsing off sandy feet etc.
There are portable BBQs, picnic tables, beachchairs, sun loungers, coolers, boogie boards, snorkelling equipment for you to use should you decide to explore the remaining 364 beaches that Antigua has to offer.
We also have Hobie Kayaks for exploring the nearby mangroves and shallow waters inside the reef.
OUR LATEST ADDITION IS AN 18FT SPEEDBOAT, "LITTLE MERMAID" WHICH WITH OUR KNOWLEDGEABLE, COMMERCIALLY LICENCED CAPTAIN CAN TRANSPORT OUR GUESTS TO OTHERWISE INACCESSIBLE AREAS OF THE ISLAND - FAR OFF THE BEATEN TRACK, TO ENJOY UNSPOILT SNORKELLING AND FISHING CHARTERS AND WATERSKIING.
AIRPORT PICK UP is included in the rental rate, as are WELCOME DRINKS on arrival.
