Description

Luxurious lounge/dining room, beautifully equipped kitchen on the first floor commanding magnificent views of beautiful and tranquil olive grove valleys. This spacious 3-bedroomed property has one king-size, one double and one twin room, 2 of which are en-suite.

Outside the villa benefits from its own 7m private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children. The 4 terraces have garden and pool furniture and are lovely places for watching the sunrise and sunset over the surrounding hills, al fresco dining or just lazing by the pool. Perfect for all the family.

The pool area is ideal for BBQ's, set right next to the attractive garden with its pomegranite, fig and quince trees. The top tier of the garden has culinary herbs available for guests to use in cooking. There is a utility area with a washing machine and a second fridge freezer. Board games are available for young guests to enjoy. There is ample parking on the secluded road. Due to its location the villa is ideally suited for families or those seeking a very comfortable, quiet and peaceful holiday.

The location is ideal for visiting the many historic towns on the route of the Caliphate such as Cordoba, Alcala Real, Moclin and Montefrio. Villa Casa La Cantora is located on the outskirts of the town of Puerto Lope. Quiet and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes from the larger towns such as Alcala Real and Pinos Puente.

GOLF: There is a new 18 hole course, the Medina Elvira in Sierra Elvira 20 minutes drive from the villa. A second new course, the Santa Clara, is just south of Granada and 40 minutes drive from the villa.

SKIING: The Sierra Nevada is approximately one hours drive from Montesol. This is a popular ski resort, and is the most Southerly in Europe. In the ski season it can be used to its fullest extent in the morning, with a return to Montesol and a dip in the pool in the afternoon!
Situated 30km from the Sierra Nevada the villa is ideal for cyclists,walkers and hikers during Spring and Autumn and for skiers in the winter. There are many tracks through the olive groves which are ideal for mountain bikers. This is an all year round villa.

HORSE RIDING: for all abilities about 20 mins drive. Different packages can be arranged with stables.

PUERTO LOPE:(2km) has banking facilities, mini-market, bakers, Hotel and bars.

PINOS PUENTE:(10km) has a supermarket, pharmacy, shops, bars and restaurants.

ALCALA LA REAL: (10km) has both Lidl and Mercadona supermarkets. This is a good size town, with parks, and a weekly market. There are 2 internet cafes in Alcala la Real and 2 in Illora (10 kilometres away).

GRANADA: has a great market on a Sunday morning, near the coach station.

TRAVEL:
Cheap flights with RYANAIR from Gatwick and Liverpool to Granada. Granada airport 25 mins drive.

MONARCH also services Granada.

Malaga airport London Luton with EASY JET: 90 minutes drive

Car hire is available at both airports. Our English speaking representatives are able to do airport transfers for 30 both trips from and to Granada airport and 100 both trips from and to Malaga airport

Spectacular views, wonderful villa, lovely pool! A real chance to un-wind and get away from the rat-race. Highlights? The staggering mosque at Cordoba (well worth the drive), the golf in Granada, the hidden restaurant in Tozar and the ferreteria (ironmonger's) just down the road. Mr P.T.

Booking: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of rental, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival, along with a refundable security / breakages deposit of 150, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
Bookings less than 6 weeks before arrival to be paid in full.

Welcome Pack can be supplied at a cost of 10 (bread, milk, juice, 6 eggs, frankfurters, tea bags etc) Please note that for arrivals on a Saturday night there are no shops open on a Sunday. Please contact owners if you require a small food pack.
Long term lets available - please let us know so that we can negotiate a price.
There will be a surcharge for heating during the winter months from October - April. This price applies for reasonable usage and will cost approximately 100 (80)per week depending on Gasoil prices.
Short stays of less than a week in the spring / summer / autumn (October - April) will incur a pro rata heating charge
Children's pack of high chair, cot, stair gate can be can be requested at a cost of 30.

Refundable security deposit - 150GBP
