Beautifully restored, The Mill Cottage with shared Pool (9m x 5). Visitors are invited to this lovely 2 bedroomed, guest accommodation, which is located in a completely separate and independent part of the grounds of our 12th century Watermill. Everything is provided for the summer and winter holiday seasons, an ideal holiday home.
The Mill Cottage is situated just 3 km from the centre of lovely Uzès – a medieval town and one of the most sought-after and privileged holiday locations in the south, that is, away from the crowded beaches of the Mediterranean! You will enjoy the wide open spaces around the Cottage – the nearest neighbours are hardly visible and you will see the animals; two lovely well-trained dogs, horses, chickens and ducks, shady tree-lined walkways, and the refreshing pool.
You have the benefit of a fully fitted, centrally heated luxury home where you will find everything you need to ensure that your stay is complete to the last detail. Outside in the gardens, there is a summer kitchen, barbecue, shower room and separate toilet. Entry to your part of the Mill House is by private driveway and, of course, there is plenty of parking space available.
Use of 7 metre long caravan is a possibilty for extra room space - A small charge is applied for this option. Check with owners.
The gardens are at your disposal. The lawns are shaded and, of course, there is adequate pool and garden furniture available for you to use.
You are welcome to stroll around the grounds, always remembering to close all the gates!
We offer to drive you to and from the market in Uzes on Saturdays, as finding a parking is not always easy! You just have to ask.
we will ensure that the property is clean and tidy on your arrival and to the best of circumstances, that all the equipment is in working order. We can take no responsibility for any breakdown due to conditions beyond our control, nor for any damages or loss resulting from adverse weather conditions, or strikes. Under no circumstances shall the owner's liability exceed the amount paid to the owners for the rental period.
Mike and Marianthi Birch, who live in the Moulin du Duc, look forward to welcoming you and can promise you a wonderful break in a superb part of France.
Sheets and towels are provided, but you are asked to bring your own pool and beach towels.
Guests must leave by 12 noon at the latest and new arrivals not before 4.p.m.
Bed and Breakfast arrangements and child minding are also possible, prices upon request.
The Mill Cottage is not suitable for small children as river runs alongside the Moulin which is unfenced.
