Description

New, fully-furnished 3 bedroomed apartment in quiet area, 5 minutes walk from beach. The apartment is on 2 floors with an additional large roof terrace as a third floor. It is very spacious and has 2 roomy terraces (one off the lounge, one of the kitchen), and one small terrace off a bedroom. The ouside terrace space is exceptional for this area. There is an excellent new pool, set in its own grounds, beside the apartment which is for the use of the adjacent apartments. There are 3 other nearby pools which can also be used. The apartment is situated in the traditional fishing village of Cabanas which has numerous cafes, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. There are four children's playground within 2 minutes of the apartment.
Benamor golf course is just 5 minutes drive away and there are 5 others within 15 minutes drive. The beautiful market town of Tavira with its riverside cafes and cobbled streets is less than 10 minutes away by car or 15 by bus, with Faro airport being 35 minutes by motorway. Spain is less than 20 minutes away.
The remote-controlled air-conditioning in the bedrooms and lounge can be used for cooling in the summer and heating in the winter. All windows and outside doors are fitted with new fly screens.
Outside, both large terraces have a table and 4 chairs, and the small terrace, off a bedroom, has a table and 2 chairs. Chairs can be easily moved between terraces. The sun roof has loungers, parasols, seats etc. and views of the sea and mountains.
Cabanas is situated at the side of a lagoon with excellent unspoilt sandy beaches just 2 minutes by boat across the bay. The boats operate throughout the year and are every few minutes in the summer. The beach has a supervised swimming area, First Aid post, changing facilities, toilets, showers, two cafes/bars, watersports and sunloungers etc. There are many other lovely beaches easily accessible by car, both to the east and west (details available in the apartment).
The nearest international airport is Faro, a 35 minute drive away (50 minutes by train). There are also cheap flights to Seville which is 90 minutes away by car. The nearest railway station, Conceicao (10 minutes walk away) connects with Faro and the western Algarve, and east to Spain.
Car hire is available at the airport and locally. A car is only necessary if travelling further afield. Airport pick up, for up to 4 people is available for 40 euros each way. Pick up for larger groups can be arranged.
