This comfortable and well equipped 90 square metre apartment is located on the west side of La Herradura bay below the Cerro Gordo National park in Las Palomas, a quite and tranquil setting with many trees, gardens and lovely views of La Herradura Bay and mountains.
The accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms; 1 double, 1 twin and bathroom with new shower over bath. There is a large lounge/dining room with CD music centre and Satellite Free to Air flat screen TV system and DVD. There is a newly fitted American style kitchen with hob, oven, fridge freezer dishwasher etc. The apartment has cooling fans and heaters and sleeps 4/5 people. The rear terrace has a dining table, chairs, parasol and reclining seats; this receives sun all day and overlooks tropical gardens and partial sea view. A travel cot/bedding and fold up bed are provided for an extra child. Private parking is available outside the apartment - there are no stairs or lifts. Pets are not allowed, guests are requested not to smoke inside the apartment.
For those who enjoy sport, there is a tennis court and 2 padel courts. Padel is a great game – a mixture of tennis, table tennis and squash – played with tennis balls and a small leather racquet. Racquets can be hired at the club.
There is an excellent swimming pool complex close the apartment with a bar which serves snacks and offers pool and table tennis - ideal for a family holiday where children can make friends easily. A small swimming pool is available for children and there are well kept gardens and grassed areas to relax in.
La Herradura is one of the few remaining unspoilt villages on the Costa Tropical that can offer a truly Spanish experience in a tranquil environment. The town is situated on the beach road with many outside bars and restaurants. Water sports, tennis, walking, sailing, horse riding and hang gliding are some of the many activities that are available. Granada, Las Alpujarras mountains and the Sierra Nevada are all within easy travelling distance. The nearest town Almuñecar is 3 miles east and Nerja is 10 miles west. Malaga 40 minutes.
